Os Emmys 2013 já foram entregues. A série "Breaking Bad", que está atualmente na sua última temporada, venceu o Emmy de Melhor Série Dramática, já a consagrada "Modern Family" foi considerada a Melhor Série de Comédia. Nas representações, Jeff Daniels levou a melhor sobre a forte concorrência e venceu o Emmy de Melhor Ator Numa Série Dramática, pelo seu papel em "The Newsroom". A convincente Claire Danes repetiu a vitória de 2012 e também levou para casa o Emmy de Melhor Atriz Num Drama. Nas comédias, Jim Parsons por "The Big Bang Theory" e Julia Louis Dreyfus por "Veep" venceram, respetivamente, os Emmys de Melhor Ator e Melhor Atriz Numa Comédia. Para o recém estreado em Portugal "Behind The Candelabra" foram os Emmys de Melhor Ator Num Telefilme (Michael Douglas), Melhor Minissérie ou Telefilme e Melhor Realização Num Telefilme (Steven Soderbergh).
